AHS Good Cause
At AHS, each form raises money for a Good Cause during the year.
This month's featured Good Cause is Invisible Children, promoted by 9A
Invisible children work on rescuing children from a life of warfare. It also helps rebuild their lives after being rescued. They reunite the children with their families and put them back in school to be educated so they will have a better future. Child soldiers are an overlooked issue, therefore we chose this charity to raise awareness and believe that you can help.
One of the campaigns running at Invisible Children is called schools for schools. The campaign builds schools for the unfortunate children who worked as soldiers, instead of being in school learning and we would like you to support it because these children are our age.
It is also a good campaign because we can relate to the students. It re-builds their lives, and gives them a life outside the army, the life they deserve as children.
